Lake Como

Italy is not more than 2 hr plane ride away. October is the perfect month to enjoy the beautiful autumn colours. 
I love the mountains even more after my year in the Rockies. Lake Como has lots of hikes to offer and did 2 different hikes in 2 days.
Having family there does make it better and easier.
Note to self: Milano Malpensa airport is crazy busy at 6 am, 16 flights leave at 7am!!
